School Uniform

Chelford CE Primary School is proud to collaborate with local uniform suppliers Classworx, who offer families an excellent and bespoke customer service experience. Uniform items can be purchased online - for both delivery and collection, or in-store, where Louise Renshaw and the team are available to help advise on sizes and options.

As a family-run, local enterprise, Classworx share our values on providing families with high-quality products which are sustainably sourced and designed to last a long time; this enables items that have been outgrown to be recycled within our community via our ‘New 2 U’ uniform service, thus reducing the costs to families and environmental impact.

Our Uniform

At Chelford CE Primary School, we believe in developing a sense of belonging in our pupils so that they take pride in their appearance. Our new uniform was designed in consulatation with our School Council and approved by our Full Governing Board. We wanted to create a uniform that is comfortable and practical for daily class activities; one that looks smart and neat and one that is easy to adhere to, with clear guidelines and expectations.

School uniform consists of:

Boys' uniform:

• White short-sleeved polo with embroidered School logo
• Red v-neck knitted jumper with embroidered School logo
• Grey trousers / grey shorts
• Black shoes (trainers not permitted)

Girls' uniform

• White short-sleeved polo with embroidered School logo
• Red v-neck knitted jumper / cardigan with embroidered School logo
• Grey trousers / grey skirt / grey skorts
• Grey or white socks / grey tights
• Summer (optional): Girls may wear full red gingham checked summer dresses
• Black shoes (trainers not permitted)

In addition to the essential items listed above, we are also pleased to offer a range of non-essential School branded items, such as outerwear and bags. 

• Reversible coat
• Fleece jacket (outerwear - fleece jackets will not be allowed to be worn during lessons)
• Rucksack bags - two options available (small and large)
• School book bags - we strongly encourage our infant pupils to bring a book bag to school each day
• Water bottle
• Chelford CE Primary School branded summer cap

Jewellery

Children are not allowed to wear jewellery with the exception of a wrist-watch and a single pair of studded earpiercings. Children wearing necklaces, wrist bands, bracelets or other items will be asked to remove them. 

'New 2 U' service

To help reduce the environmental impact and costs of our uniform, we encourage donations of usable uniform items to our 'New 2 U' uniform service, which offers parents the opportunity to acquire uniform items for a modest voluntary contribution to our PTA.
