Church visit

 Class 2 pupils enjoyed an informative visit to All Saints Church in Marthall on Monday to learn all about the features of a church. The children were accompanied by Mrs Thwaites, Mrs Ainsworth and Mr Frodsham (with Mrs Downer on hand to drive our minibus) and were afforded a warm welcome by Rev Fiona, church warden Mrs Elaine Boyling, and organist, Mr Nigel Bird. We were especially grateful to Rev. Fiona for not only facilitating the visit, but for also taking the time to prepare a variety of learning resources for children and sharing some aspects of her role.
