School Grounds
Chelford CE Primary benefits from its beautiful countryside location. Set in the heart of our thriving village, the School was relocated to its current premises on Oak Road in 1999. The modern build provides a spacious and contemporary environment for pupils to learn and grow.
The School boasts beautiful outdoor spaces:
- A vast playing field provides ample room for children to play during the dry summer months. Children enjoy playing a range of sports games and activities, both at playtime and during extra curricular sessions and sporting fixtures against our partner schools. The field is also used for one of our annual highlights: Sports Day.
- Our adventure trail is a popular hit with children who enjoy developing their balance, coordination, core strength and gymnastic skills during playtimes. The recently-installed artificial grass surface makes the 'trim trail' accessible even through the winter months.
- Pupils love and interest in nature is promoted through the school garden. Volunteers lend a hand in helping pupils to develop their 'green fingers' which also helps to provide a colourful and aromatic environment for teachers and pupils to enjoy.
