Love Music Trust
The Love MusicTrust (www.lovemusictrust.com) lead weekly sessions with our KS2 pupils, developing their love of music and understanding of National Curriculum objectives, through instrument tuition.
Pupils begin to learn to play the ukulele in Class 2, spending two years developing their knowledge and skills before progressing to the guitar in Class 3.
As part of the provision, each child is provided with an instrument which can be taken home to enable them to develop their skills further through practice.
In addition, pupils also enjoy vocal coaching and tuition in readiness for their participation in a collaborative concert ‘Singfest’ in the spring term.
The Love Music Trust also works with our infant pupils, who also enjoy the opportunity to perform as part of the Betty Bear Goes to the Zoo project.
Pupils are extremely positive about the impact of our Love Music Trust collaboration and the sessions led by Mr Gambling.
