School Admission Arrangements
Owing to our recent expansion, we are able to offer places in all year groups. Please contact headteacher Mr A Brady: head@chelford.cheshire.sch.uk for further information and to arrange a viewing.
As Chelford CE Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled school, Cheshire East Council is the Admission Authority for all Community and Voluntary Controlled schools within the county, therefore Chelford CE Primary School is bound by the LA policy for admissions. Admission arrangements for schools maintained by the local authority, together with Academies and Free Schools, must comply with the School Admissions Code as amended December 2014.

Reception Class Admissions:
Starting School
The application process for school places begins each September and closes in January. Applications for a place at Chelford CE Primary School have to be made directly to the Admissions Team at Cheshire East Council.
Parents and their children are very welcome to visit our school during the school day. For more information about our school, or to arrange a visit please contact the School Office on 01625 861351.
In-Year Admissions:
Applications for school places ‘in year’ are for admission after the first day of the school year into any year group. You will need to complete an In Year Application form, which will be forwarded to your school of choice. Alternatively, hard copies of the application form can be found in the "In Year Admissions" booklet or contact 0300 123 5012.
